You may notice some of the lures pictured are not the Kreg style jerkbaits. To save a little time until I can paint more I have just included some standard Vision 110 style bait to show the pattern. Anything ordered from this page will be the Kreg style jerkbait.
The Krej is a revolutionary hard bait that is creating a new style of fishing called "Krejing." This lure defies conventional jerkbaiting, by working its way upwards in the water column, only to fall backwards towards its target. Designed to excel with Forward Facing Sonar, krejing allows the angler to take advantage of being able to see how the fish reacts and work the bait up and away from the fish better imitating a natural fleeing motion, or back towards the fish to trigger reaction strikes. Although created with FFS in mind many are catching tons of fish just fishing it wherever you would normally throw a jerkbait. Although this is a sinking style jerkbait it does have a topwater use also. If you start your retrieve as soon as or before the lure hits the water the upward facing lip will help the lure skitter across the surface. The neat thing I found about fishing this lure with some schooling fish around busting the surface. I would cast it out and skit it across the surface if a fish would blow up and miss it I would just stop the lure dead and it would shimmy as it sunk. Of course not every time but sometimes it resulted in a second strike. I would only let it sink for a few seconds and then if no bites keeping rod tip high I could get the bait back up to the surface and finish my retrieve. This is a great bait but it is a slow seller because it was marketed as a bait for use with FFS. I am here to tell you that you do not need FFS, I will throw this any place I would throw a regular jerkbait.

NOTE: Each bait is hand painted in the order they are received. I make every effort to ship the baits within 3 days of receiving the order, however during the busy season it can take up to 5 to 8 business days to ship the baits. In most cases they do ship within 3 days, I never want to make anyone wait but I do need to maintain quality so it can take time sometimes. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or need something in a hurry.
