DC Baitcasting Reel

This is an off brand DC fishing reel. I have been using one of these exact reel for several months now without a single complaint. 7.0:1 retrieve speed. Some of the benefits of a DC reel for an angler experienced with a baitcaster is increased distance and efficiency. Another place where a DC reel shines with with someone who is new to baitcasting, you can pretty much eliminate the backlashes and increase the speed of learning. What the brochure says is that there is a little chip inside the reel, the chip is charged with the spinning of the spool which allows the chip to read the speed of the spool more than 1,000 per second. I have to take their word on that I am unable to verify by counting, I just can't count that fast. lol
